What can you help with?

How much does it cost?

Sessions are £35, and I offer a £30 community rate for seniors and care settings.

You can start with a free chat first, so we can talk things through before you book anything.

Do you charge for travel?

There’s no call-out fee within the core Reading area.

For nearby areas like Wokingham, Bracknell, Newbury, Maidenhead, Windsor and Slough, there may be a small £5 travel fee.

I’ll always confirm this with you beforehand - no surprises 💛

Do you offer home visits?

Yes 🙂

I can come to your home, meet at a coffee shop or we can do things remotely - whatever feels easiest for you.

How long is a session?

Most sessions are around an hour, but it really depends on what you need.

There’s no rushing - we go at your pace and focus on getting things working properly.

I’m really not good with tech… is that okay?

Completely okay - that’s exactly who I help.

Nothing is too basic, and I’ll always explain things clearly without jargon or making you feel rushed or uncomfortable.

Can I book for a parent or family member?

Absolutely.

A lot of people book on behalf of parents or relatives, and I’m always happy to help make things easier for them.

Can you help with accessibility features?

Yes - this is something I spend a lot of time helping with.

I can set up things like larger text, better contrast, voice assistance and other adjustments to make devices easier and more comfortable to use.

Can you help me stay safe online?

Yes - I can help with things like recognising scams, improving privacy settings, and making sure your devices are set up securely.

Do you fix broken devices (screens, batteries, etc.)?

I don’t carry out physical repairs like screen or battery replacements.

But I can diagnose the issue and recommend trusted local repair shops or authorised service centres, so you don’t waste money on unnecessary fixes.

What should I have ready before a session?

Nothing complicated 🙂

Just have the device you’d like help with nearby and switched on.

If possible, have any passwords handy (Wi-Fi, email, Apple ID/Google account), but don’t worry if not - we’ll figure it out together.

Do you offer ongoing support?

Yes 🙂

After your first session, you’ll have access to the client portal where you can view session notes and book further support whenever you need it.

What if I’m not happy?

If something’s not right, just let me know.
